Fountain Falls is located in upstate South Carolina near the Chatooga River. We are not more than a couple hours drive from Atlanta, Charlotte, Asheville, Charleston, Chattanooga, Knoxville and Raleigh. People drive from North Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia, Florida and even Virginia, Washington and New Jersey to see our mini, medium, and standard Goldendoodles. Puppies are raised in the fresh air of the foothills of the Appalachian mountains. All Fountain Falls puppies are born in a home environment. They are exposed from an early age to children and household sounds such as music, vacuum cleaners, and television. Our puppies play in an adjacent 2,000 square foot puppy play yard which is stocked with all kinds of puppy toys, slides, tunnels and ramps. They get baths, nail trims and regular grooming to get them ready for these experiences in their new homes. They begin litter training at three weeks and are taken outside regularly by five weeks, weather permitting. This makes house training much easier when they transition to their new homes.

Prospective breeding puppies are placed in their forever guardian home at eight weeks. Our stringent health testing is completed between 12-18 months. They have their own family to live with and love. Each girl is bred two to four times. When retired, mamas are spayed and become a permanent member of their guardian family. The boys visit FFG as needed but also have their own home.  Dogs need a family to love and play with. The welfare, health and happiness of each FFG dog is my primary focus. What is best for the dog or puppy in question is how I make decisions. 

I stay current on the latest research by staying in touch with other premium breeders, and researchers. I go to at least one breeder conference a year where I always learn so much. My puppy raising protocols are always evolving and changing to exceed current industry standards. Our puppies also experience Early Neural Stimulation ENS as developed by the Super Dog program. I have participated in Puppy Culture and Avid dog training and have developed a puppy raising protocol that gives Fountain Falls puppies the best beginnings as they go to their families or work as Service and Therapy dogs.
